It's Your Year: HBCU Tour places a positive campus engagement, professional development and outreach.
This year, we are hosting a pitch competition at Bethune-Cookman University, Jackson State University, Dillard University and Morgan State University and invite you to sign up.
20 pitches will be selected, and the winners from each campus will receive $1,000 cash.
Pitches may include 1-5 students.
All major or classifications are welcome to participate.
Pitches must be related to solving a problem using business or technology.
Students selected for the on campus pitch competition will have to present their idea in person for 1-3 minutes followed by 2 minutes of Q&A.
Pitch Presentations should answer the following:
Team Names
Pitch Name
Pitch Idea
The problem you wish to solve
The impact you will have on the problem
Resources needed for the idea to be successful
Projected cost to implement idea
Timeline
Pitch Presentations may come in for form of Powerpoint Presentations (Canva, Adobe, Prezi and other softwares are welcome)
